Will St.

Perth foodies were pretty excited to learn Will Meyrick, the chef-owner behind super popular Balinese hangouts like Sarong and Mama San decided to bring a taste of Bali to our shores. The Will St menu is seasonable and features heaps of flavour-packed dishes using only the freshest ingredients from fun bar snacks to share over a cocktail to hearty curries and desserts.

Hujan Locale

HOME â–¸ RESTAURANTS â–¸ HUJAN LOCALE, UBUD

Hujan Locale

On the top floor of a shuttered two-storey building, with a charming rooftop and temple outlook, Hujan Locale is the place to go to really feel like you’re in Ubud. The cuisine helps too. Chef and restaurateur Will Meyrick has taken his love for Indonesian flavours and given them a modern make-over but not so much so that they lose their authenticity.
URBAN LIST

THE PLACE

Hujan Locale is a chic, two-story restaurant featuring a stylishly renovated bar on the first floor and a charming, simplistic main dining room on the second floor, with large windows offering views of a Balinese temple and the street.

THE MENU

An edible journey through traditional street food recipes, and on to modern flavours and interpretations. Family-style share plates and authentic flavours populate the menu, ideal for feasting alongside loved ones

Mama San Bali

HOME â–¸ RESTAURANTS â–¸ MAMA SAN BALI, SEMINYAK

MAMA SAN BALI

Mama San is a Seminyak stalwart, a much-loved culinary hub for foodies keen to chow down on authentic flavours from across Asia in a modern convivial space. That’s not to say the place stays the same. Last year, Mama San extended into the space next door to create an expanded (and a little more stylish) lunch and dinner dining room with an open-kitchen emphasis on grilled dishes such as grilled king prawns and fiery thigh chicken and wood-fired pork tomahawk. More recently, the upstairs Supper Club opened for swanky group dinners that promise whiskey-based digestifs into the wee hours.
URBAN LIST

THE PLACE

While the change is beyond physical, it’s the new interiors that you’ll notice first. Mama San Bali is certainly well-dressed, with plush green banquette seating, walls of dark timber, ample mirrors and a scattering of chandeliers.

THE MENU

The Mama San’s menu has undergone a similar refresh, seamlessly melding street food flavours with a more refined dining experience.

THE SUPPER CLUB*

Perched just above Mama San Bali is speakeasy-inspired drinking den Mama San Supper Club.

Ever-evolving, the menu crafted for groups of 8+ changes according to what’s trend and in season, alongside a lengthy list of premium-focused wines and creative cocktails.

Exclusive events and private functions are welcomed by this intimate space. The lounge will be no stranger to pop-up collaborations with renowned chefs, or musical acts which promise to entertain guests well into the night.
